This project consist of 2 site, one with existing house and another is empty land. Renovate and brand new build and make it as one, was quite a challange. How to connect the existing house with the new house and the renovate it to be one.
This house is specifically designed for elderly. An inner-court is added to give natural ventilation and daylight to all spaces inside the house. Most of their activities happened inside living room and dining room. The house is located in a tight site and therefore, we have to design each room efficiently.
